This year, there is a new package available for drivers called the F Sport Handling for both ES350 and ES300h options. It adds an adaptive suspension with Sport+ and custom drive modes as well as being able to get a heated steering wheel. There's also a panoramic roof available too. Other new features include optional Ash Bamboo trim and a Macadamia upholstery as well as new designs for the center console, and a wireless charging pad. There's also a new touch display interface which is more user-friendly too.
Since the 2023 Lexus ES has multiple trim levels, you'll find both gas and hybrid-powered options. The standard gas engine comes with all-wheel drive and is a 203-horsepower four-cylinder. All ES350 options are powered by a V6 that produces 302 horsepower and uses an eight-speed transmission with front-wheel drive. Hybrid options give you a net of 215 horsepower.
In terms of fuel economy, the Lexus ES350 attains 22 miles per gallon in the city and 32 miles per gallon on the highway. Its hybrid variant adds 43 miles per gallon in the city and 44 miles per gallon on the highway. With 2023 Lexus ES250 options, you are getting 25 miles per gallon in the city and 34 miles per gallon on the highway, while its hybrid provides over 40 miles per gallon in driving settings.
As you would expect from any new Lexus vehicle there is going to be a stylish interior. You get high-quality materials onboard and enough legroom for you and your passengers to provide lots of comfort and support. The 2023 Lexus ES is also quiet onboard while giving you the room of up to 17 cubic feet in the trunk, which is more cargo space than some other luxury brands.
You'll be connected onboard too as it has a standard eight-inch display, but you can opt for a 12.3-inch option. The touch display is newly redesigned to be within reach and have everything connected such as Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ as well as Amazon Alexa capability. You're also able to find a Wi-Fi hotspot that you can sign up for via a subscription plan, and navigation systems onboard.
The Lexus Safety System+ 2.5 is on the 2023 Lexus ES, and that means you will be able to get standard adaptive cruise control as well as lane-departure warning and lane-keeping assistance with automatic emergency braking and pedestrian and cyclist detection.
